Our first Bachmann Collectors' Club N scale steam locomotive has been produced exlusively for the club alongside the other new generation Black 5 models recently introduced. It has a 6PIN DCC socket installed and is available now from the club office for £104.95 plus delivery.
The first of Sir William Stanier's Black 5 locomotives took to the rails in September 1934, with 842 being built before construction ceased in May 1951. Only five of the Class were allocated names and our example, No. 45157 'The Glasgow Highlander', was named when it was London, Midland and Scottish Railway No. 5157 at a ceremony at Glasgow Central Station on March 6 1936. Our model carries its later BR lined black livery with late crest.

Representing England, Wales and Scotland, the three wagons are Pilkington Brothers from St Helens, David Jones & Sons of Cawdor and Smith Anderson & Co of Leslie. These wagons are exclusively produced for the Bachmann Collectors' Club and as usual have challenged our design team.
This is the fourth set of N Scale private owner wagons we have issued, the first set now down to just a few remaining examples, while the second set has sold out. For more information on the history of each wagon, please refer to Volume 10 Issue 3 of the Collectors' Club magazine (Spring 2010).

Membership Renewals for 2010/2011 Club Year
Renewal forms have been inserted into the Summer magazine (dispatched 9th June 2010) for members who wish to renew for the 2010/11 Club year. The annual fee is £20 for UK members and £32 for EU & Non EU members. Members will receive a club wagon (OO or N depending on your preference), 4 quarterly magazines, Calendar at Christmas, Bachmann or Graham Farish 2011 catalogue on publication (around March 2011) and a metal club badge for 2010/11.
